Very excited to be part of this fundraising project for Maggie’s Centres.

Make sure you head over to No 1 Poultry this week to see Joy of Living 2017 – an exhibition of work created by artists and designers in support of Maggie’s Centres.

The exhibition is the culmination of a project conceived by Max Fraser. Over the summer he invited established and emerging pdesigners to create one-off works of art interpreting the title Joy of Living using just three A4 sheets of coloured paper.

The entire collection is now on sale to raise funds for Maggie’s Centres – enabling the charity to further its work for cancer patients and their support networks throughout the UK.

Designers of the works are undisclosed until they sell, so we can’t post images just yet!

Talking about his involvement in the project, Tej said, “Like many of us, I have friends and family whose lives have been touched by cancer. Joy of Living was a chance to collaborate with the wider design community to proactively support Maggie’s and the important work they do. Free from our more usual commercial and manufacturing constraints, the process was really therapeutic. I hope the exhibition attracts large crowds with deep pockets.”

Joy of Living 2017 runs from Tuesday 5 to Sunday 10 September.
